The netted cage was perfect and I raised about 20 monarchs! I don’t think the tubes and yellow holder added anything though.

This was a terrific find for me, I could put 3 or 4 milkweed plants in there without any problem. I raised 30 monarchs— and it saved me a whole ton of work and time!
I have a potted milkweed plant which is slightly too tall, most of its leaves are up against the ceiling. But my caterpillars don't seem to mind! I have about 15 caterpillars in there now and they seem to be thriving. This is my first time rearing these creatures and I found this website to be a great resource of information.
The only thing I might recommend is to put a little stronger zipper on it.
